Doman Ansema – from the Piedmont dialect “Together Tomorrow” – is a working and social inclusion project for young foreigners living in the Susa Valley (Metropolitan City of Turin – Piedmont Region).
This is a project with a strong territorial vocation, linked to the local community and to its direct commitment on giving a suitable answer to the reception system for unaccompanied children (they are 0.77 per 1,000 inhabitants in the Susa Valley against a national figure of 0.3).
Social and relational inclusion starting from a direct participation of the local community not only in the implementation, but also in the planning of the placement of unaccompanied children into inclusive groups, workshops with high schools, active volunteers, attendance and creation of events.
Language and cultural inclusion thanks to a close collaboration between the CPIA and the Italian Teachers, the Inclusion Operators and Educators of those organizations that take care of the reception of unaccompanied children in the Susa Valley.
Personalized job placement projects, based both on the beneficiaries’ expectations and desires directly connected to the local needs. The strong commitment of all the local stockholders active in the field of professional trainings and job placement (Employment Centres, training institutions, single companies and business groups) represents the strength of the Doman Ansema project.
Housing autonomy supported by those educators and cultural mediators who are already dealing with the children in the care facilities, through the creation and implementation of personalized offers based on the single beneficiary’s experience.
Human relations and the commitment of the local community are the key factors for the construction of individual personalized projects whose objective is the achievement of a strong and rooted life autonomy in the local area.
