«Help him to face the normality» and «Be pride of being a volunteer tutor»: are the slogans used by the Authority for Childhood and Adolescence, which these days has promoted in Italy a campaign addressed to those citizens who are interested in becoming volunteer tutors of the many unaccompanied minors in Italy. Young people who arrived after enormous difficulties and that today are alone in Italy, without the assistance or the representation of their parents or any other adults legally responsible for them, and who need a contact person able to help them know their rights and the Country they live in.

 

The volunteer tutor plays an important key role and guarantees to young migrants their legal, civil and human rights.
